The short of it: I've been drawing for 11 years, and have recently begun painting. I tend to choose pop culture subjects for my work that some may consider odd - consisting mainly of whoever/whatever I'm interested in at the time.

Obviously, I'm not as talented as some of the folks who display their work here - but art is one of my passions, and I will always be learning and refining myself. I'm not really out to impress anyone (except myself), but if other people like my work, that's wonderful.

I'm lucky enough to have a housemate whose aunt was an illustrator for Marvel Comics, and who has passed on many of her old materials to me. I don't ever intend to be a serious artist, but I find that it's terrific therapy!
